Private pickleball coaching Vancouver

Turn your frustrating points into reliable patterns.

Personal coaching built around your game, whether you are learning consistency, moving to the kitchen or preparing for competitive play.

Focused coaching makes improvement visible

In a group clinic, your most important question may get only a few minutes. A private lesson gives you repeated feedback on the specific habits affecting your game. We identify one or two useful changes, practise them under light pressure and then apply them to points.

Essential pickleball shots

The serve and return

A deep, dependable serve creates an easier third shot. A deep return gives you time to reach the non-volley line. We work on height, depth and a repeatable setup before adding pace.

The dink

A dink lands softly in the opponent's kitchen and makes an aggressive attack difficult. Good dinking comes from a calm grip, stable posture and lifting the ball rather than flicking at it.

The third-shot drop

The drop is a soft shot from the back court into the kitchen. Its purpose is to neutralize opponents at the net and give your team time to move forward.

The drive

A drive is a firm, low shot used when the ball sits high enough to attack. Placement and margin matter more than swinging as hard as possible.

Strategy for doubles

Many points are lost because partners leave a gap, move at different times or attack from a poor position. Coaching covers when to advance, how to protect the middle and how to recognize balls that should be reset instead of attacked.
